When I made this account, I had to start over because I could no longer access my old dw account. The world had changed so much from two years ago. My own country is facing a national elections that could make or break us. Even the fandoms I am part of had also changed.
It seems that only I haven't changed. I'm a year older but not any wiser. Not any stronger. Not any kinder. Not any more responsible. Not any "adult-er." I'm still as lost as I was when I was 17, with less potential for a bright future.
But people around me are working hard. The people I look up to don't let setbacks stop them. They inspire me to not give up on becoming a better me.
So happy birthday, me. Never forget that no matter how old you get, you will always be loved and worthy.
